We live in an abstract time in which most things are abbreviated into smaller versions of what they used to be. For example, instead of saying “Kentucky Fried Chicken,” we refer to it as “KFC.” The same ideology applies in modern art because art interacts with the speed of our lives and also get its inspiration from society. Instead of painting the whole figure or landscape, artists can break down the subject matter into more simplistic ways of expression. These simplistic forms can have the same meaning, however different the approach. My art is considered objective or non-objective, which applies in abstract forms. My paintings resemble a purity of expression of the moment. I use a mixture of vibrant and earthy colors on the canvas. My art is about the unity of colors throughout the composition. I even use rough materials such as pallet knives and saw dust to express myself as honestly as possible. My paintings also use colors to convey a sense of relaxation for viewers.
